Vibes visuals in a live setting

Case study / interactive technology

Vibes.

Live visuals that give a room a shared atmosphere shaped by its music and people.

Role: Founder and creative technology lead · Skills: visual direction · Unity / C# · audio reactivity · projection mapping · live deployment

Situation

Make the live room feel alive.

Music and live performance change minute by minute. A fixed visual loop misses that energy. I developed Vibes to give event teams and artists a visual layer that responds to a performance and helps audiences feel part of one moment.

As founder and technical lead, I designed the visual direction, built reusable Unity/C# systems, and worked through how those systems would run in real spaces. The work spans real-time graphics, audio-reactive behavior, motion tracking experiments, and projection mapping.

Task

Give live teams a responsive visual layer.

As founder and technical lead, I set the visual direction and built a modular system that could respond to sound and live inputs in different rooms. The work needed to function as an audience-facing setup, not only as a rendered concept.

DEMO

Live visual system / simplified

What makes the room respond.

  1. 01

    Live input

Music and configurable inputs provide changing signals during a performance.

  2. 02

    Unity / C#

Reusable scene and interaction logic turn those signals into visual behavior.

  3. 03

    Visual output

The rendered content changes in real time rather than playing as a fixed loop.

  4. 04

    Shared room

Projection and display surfaces bring the response into the audience space.

This diagram explains the system shown in the demo footage above. It is a simplified experience flow, not a wiring plan for a particular event.

Action

Creative direction backed by working software.

01

Real-time development

Built modular visual scenes and interaction logic in Unity and C# so a live setup can adapt to different rooms and programs.

02

Responsive inputs

Connected audio reactivity and configurable live inputs to visuals, making the room respond to what is happening inside it.

03

Experience delivery

Led visual direction and deployment planning alongside software development, including projection mapping for live performances.

Result

Built for actual performances.

I built and demonstrated modular, responsive visuals for live settings. The demo above shows the system in motion and the path from a visual concept to an audience-facing setup.
