OVERVIEW
As a Creative Technologist at Future Colossal, I built immersive installations that transformed brand narratives into interactive physical experiences. From ESPN's celebration of women in sports to Citibank's accessibility-focused Paralympics campaign, each project required bridging creative vision with technical execution— real-time data visualization, custom hardware integration, and responsive environments that engaged audiences in ways traditional media cannot.
WHAT MADE IT HARD
Immersive installations fail in public. There's no second chance when hundreds of visitors interact with your work daily. Each project demanded solutions that were robust enough for continuous operation, responsive enough to feel magical, and simple enough that anyone could engage without instructions. The technical stack ranged from UDP protocols and DMX lighting to eye-tracking systems and spherical displays—all needing to work together seamlessly under real-world conditions.
