GLSL shader studies.

A 50-day exploration of image making through code.

The work

Code becomes image.

I began this self-directed series to learn how light, color, form, and movement can be built directly in a shader rather than assembled as fixed media.

I wrote and iterated GLSL studies, working through shader fundamentals and publishing the results as a growing visual collection. The practice sharpened the real-time visual instincts I later brought to live systems.

Selected frames

A visual language in code.

These frames show the range of the study: ripples, celestial forms, fields of light, and spatial illusions. Each image was generated through shader code.

From practice to projects

A wider visual toolkit.

This work is a foundation for responsive visual experiences: understanding how an image changes over time, how it reacts, and how code can create atmosphere.
