300-Word Bio
Yiting Liu's work is guided by a simple idea: the most useful technology makes an experience easier to enter, feel, trust, and remember. That point of view has shaped her path from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program to enterprise XR, independent cultural production, and live product building.
She has led immersive and interactive initiatives for Fortune 500 clients including CAMP (Disney), ESPN, Citibank, and Comcast. Her work earned recognition at MIT Reality Hack, where she won the Wellness Prize for LifelinesAR, an AR therapy installation designed around emotional processing.
Enterprise work taught her how to ship under pressure. Independent work taught her how to make a room feel alive. Together, those experiences shaped a practice focused on public-facing systems that hold both concept and execution.
That is why she built Vibes: a live visual system that uses AI and real-time audio analysis to create shared atmosphere for venues, artists, and brand moments. For Yiting, the point is not AI for its own sake. The point is technology that increases participation, memorability, and the feeling of being there together.
Yiting speaks on human connection through technology-powered experiences: how to build technology that amplifies human creativity, how to use AI without flattening meaning or taste, and how brands and cultural teams can create experiences people trust and talk about after they end.
She has spoken, moderated, taught workshops, and presented demos with Future of NYC Design, Florida Atlantic University, Techspressionism, Her Rising x Girls Who Lead NYC, NY Tech Connect, NYVR, XR Motion, AIGA, and XR Guild. She mentors at MIT Reality Hack and is based in New York City.
