Yiting Liu left China at 18 seeking creative freedom. At NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, she discovered that the most meaningful technology connects humans emotionally—a principle that has guided her work ever since.

As a creative technologist specializing in AI and XR, Yiting led immersive experience initiatives for Fortune 500 clients including CAMP (Disney), ESPN, Citibank, and Comcast. Her work earned recognition at the MIT Reality Hack, where she won the Wellness Category for LifelinesAR, an AR therapy tool designed to support emotional processing.

But enterprise work wasn't enough. Yiting wanted to give artists the tools she wished she'd had.

So she built Vibes: an AI music video generator that eliminates the $15K+ production barrier for independent artists. The platform performs real-time audio analysis—detecting rhythm, mood, and energy shifts—and generates synchronized, stylized video output in minutes. For Yiting, the goal isn't AI that replaces creative work, but AI that serves as a creative partner.

Yiting speaks on the intersection of AI, art, and meaning: how to build technology that amplifies human creativity rather than automating it away, why constraint-driven design produces better creative tools, and what the democratization of production means for independent artists.
